Susan G. Tossava

TOSSAVA, Susan G. of Waterford, died on December 26, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Left to cherish her memory are her cousins, Mitzi Ward, Tracy Darna and Darrin (Jamie) Covert, her extended Family in Tennessee, and her loving caregivers and friends from Regency at Waterford. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pendergast and her parents.

Born in 1957, the daughter of Warren and Bertha Tossava, Susan was raised in Redford, and graduated from Redford Union High School. She continued her education at the University of Michigan, graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree. Susan dated and married William Pendergast;  sadly he preceded her in death. Susan worked as a chemist for AkzoNobel Coatings, until her health forced her into retirement. She enjoyed signing in the choir at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, golfing, bowling, and going to the casino.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, 11:00 am, at the Glen Eden Memorial Park 35667 Eight Mile Road Livonia, Michigan.

Memorial donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, https://donate.nationalmssociety.org/. Arrangements entrusted to the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.
