Terrence "Terry" E. Rudd Sr.

RUDD, Terrence "Terry" E. Sr., of Clarkston, Michigan, went home to be with his Lord March 4, 2023, at the age of 79 unexpectedly of a heart attack. Terry was born March 4, 1944, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Edward and Linda (Koskela) Rudd. Beloved husband of Constance "Connie" for 57 years; loving father of Terry (Jennifer Iba) Rudd, Jr., and Kelly (Kirk) Brien; proud papa of Jack, Madeline, Nathan, Teddy and Bobby; dearest brother of William (Gloria) Rudd and brother-in-law of Jim (Barb) Kautz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. Terry grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, and graduated from Sault Ste. Marie High School in 1962. He married the love of his life, Constance "Connie" Kautz, in her hometown of Parma, Ohio, August 20, 1965. In 1969, he received his Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana. Terry's life above all was about serving his Lord. He touched many lives and was pastor to many families at various churches, including Billings Bible Church in Billings, Montana, and First Baptist Church of Pontiac in White Lake. Spending time with his family was important to him. He was an avid reader and over the years built up an impressive library. He enjoyed golfing, playing many courses through the years, but would always return to his favorite: Les Cheneaux Golf Club in Cedarville, Michigan. He loved to travel, particularly to California and the coastal town of Carmel. He was an avid photographer, always behind the lens. He enjoyed taking photos of his family and documenting his travels. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. In accordance with Terry's wishes, a private family service will take place later in the year. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in Terry's name for the Stepanski Early Childhood Center. This will be used to help assist children and their families in need.
