Thelma P. Woods

WOODS, Thelma P. of Clarkston; formerly of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, passed away on March 7, 2023; age 86.  Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Frank M. Woods.  Loving mother of Robert (Lynn) Woods and Virginia (Kevin) Wisely.  Cherished grandma of Melinda (John Forse) Laszczynski, Erin (Stephen) Knoblock, Connor Woods, Sean Wisely and Anna Wisely.

Thelma graduated as the Valedictorian from California University of Pennsylvania and spent many years working as a teacher and corporate trainer.  She was also a longtime member, volunteer and cookie maker of Mayfield United Methodist Church.  Thelma enjoyed bird watching, playing cards especially hearts and bridge.  She had an extensive greeting card ministry often remembering family and friends on their special occasions.  Thelma was a humble and hardworking servant of God.

Memorial Service 10:30 am, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Mayfield United Methodist Church where family and friends may visit after 9:30 am.  Inurnment Shenango Valley Cemetery, Greenville, PA.  Memorials may be made to Lourdes Senior Community, Clausen Manor in Waterford, MI or the Mayfield United Methodist Church in Chesterland, OH.  Please leave a memory below.
