Thomas F. Schweigert

SCHWEIGERT, Thomas F. of Waterford; went home to heaven on September 28, 2023; age 70.   Beloved husband of Frieda for 28 years.  Like a father to Lena Burimenko and her son Aidan. Beloved cousin of Barbara Moll, Steve (Kathy) Anderson, Doug (Julie) Anderson, Chuck (Debbie) Moll, Jim (Lesa) Moll, Donn (Carol) Moll, Bill (Naomi) Jipping, Jean Moll, Daryl (Stephanie) Flatt and Duane Flatt.  Dearest brother-in-law of Joan Witucke, Rosie Wagner, Nancy Dickall and Wandalee Marshall.  Son-in-law of Lee Hall.  Also survived by his babies, Cricket and Cheyenne, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence F. Schweigert MD and Frances J. Schweigert.  Tom graduated from Cass Technical High School.  He earned a bachelor's and master's degree from Eastern Michigan University, a master's degree from the Master's Graduate School of Divinity and a doctorate degree from Toura University International.  Tom was a member of Eastern National Championship Swimming Team, earning All American Honors. He was also a Senior Chaplain with the International Fellowship of Chaplains. Tom retired from Dupont.  He loved living on the lake.  Tom had a passion for boating and enjoyed watching the freighters on Lake St. Claire.

Visitation Friday, October 6th from 10 am to 11 am at Harvestland Church 5848 Clintonville Rd., Clarkston.

Funeral Service Friday 11 am at the church.

Private Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Karmanos Cancer Institute.
