Vickie Diane Little

Vickie Diane Little, age 76, of Clarkston, Michigan, quietly left for heaven on August 29, 2026. Even in her last precious days, she would always ask family, friends and the medical staff, “What can I do to help you?” Throughout her life, without exception, Vickie was always a kind, compassionate and dedicated servant to all who crossed her path.

Vickie was born on May 31, 1950 in Bluffton, Ohio. Cherishing her memory is her high school sweetheart and devoted husband of 57 years, Rich. Celebrating the life of their loving mother are sons, Matthew (Lisa) of Broomfield, Colorado and Michael (Nikki) of Huntington Woods, Michigan. Vickie “Mimi” also has 4 beautiful grandchildren: Nadia, Owen, Nolan and Evan. Vickie is survived by her sisters Nancy Ferrall and Cathy Stewart (Bill) and by her brother Michael Ferrall (Sheryl). Preceding her in death were her parents, Rex and Nettie Ferrall and younger brother Richard.

Vickie was a Registered Nurse, and a 1971 graduate of Miami Valley School of Nursing in Dayton, Ohio. Her career spanned several large city hospitals, working in Intensive Care, Burn Care and Oncology. She was a master at balancing her profession, her sons' athletics, hobbies, yoga and friendships. She found her calling in the Clarkston Garden Club where she helped to beautify the village and provide scholarships and learning programs for Clarkston schools. She loved cooking, puzzles, extensive reading and traveling the globe. She had a smile to light up a room and an aura of kindness to put all at peace. We sincerely hope that you had a chance, in your own life, to meet and know our beloved Vickie. Together, we are all the lucky ones to have had that time.

Friends may visit Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston on Tuesday, Sept 1st from 4:00pm-7:00pm

Funeral Service Wednesday, September 2nd at 10:00am at Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

Burial Thursday, September 3rd at Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton, Ohio.

Memorials may be made to the Clarkston Farm and Garden Club.
