Wayne J. Fisher

FISHER, Wayne J.; of Waterford; born March 8, 1939 in Cheboygan to Vernal and Marie Fisher; passed away November 14, 2025 at the age of 86;

Husband of Rita for 40 years; father of Deron Fisher and Amy Fisher; Stepfather of Marty Kirkwood, Tracy (the late David) Martin, and Kenny Kirkwood;

Grandpa of Phillip (Vanessa) Bagwell, Tim Bagwell and Raven Bagwell; great grandpa of Ivy Bagwell and Oliver Laskey; preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Jeremiah, Catherine and Mary Anne.

Wayne served in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1962-1967. He retired from General Motors after 34 years. He was a member of Campbell-Richmond Post 63 of the American Legion, having served as past Commander. Wayne enjoyed golfing and was on the F Troop golf league. He was a member of Flaming Pistons Car Club, Camel's Poker Club and often volunteered for charities.

Cemetery service  with military honors Friday, November 28th at 1:30pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Meet directly at cemetery staging area at 1:15pm.

Celebration of life gathering to follow at Campbell-Richmond Post 63 with refreshments at 2:30pm and luncheon at 3:00pm

Arrangements entrusted to Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Campell-Richmond Post 63 of the American Legion, 8047 Ortonville Road, Clarkston, MI 48348
