William B. Ballard

BALLARD, William B. "Bill" of Clarkston; went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2026; age 82.  Beloved husband of Kat.  Loving father of Marc (Sara) Ballard and Misty Jo (Tom) Duncan.  Proud Lolo of Madeline, Andrew, Alex, Robin and the late Hope.  Also, survived by many cousins, extended family, and friends.  Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Chrystine Ballard and his sister, Beverly Roland.

Bill graduated from Spring Arbor College.  He was a longtime member of Waypoint Church.  Bill was a well-respected Real Estate Commercial Broker.  He was the co-founder and an Executive Director of Gleaners Food Bank.  He developed a lifeline program for troubled teens with Youth for Christ.  Bill was the Director of Development for Christian Family Services and a foster parent for over 20 foster children.

Visitation Friday, May 8th from 3 pm to 8 pm at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home, Clarkston and Saturday, May 9th from 9 am until 11 am at Waypoint Church.

Celebration of Life Service Saturday, May 9th at 11 am at Waypoint Church, Clarkston.

Private Interment Perry Mt. Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakland Hope or to Waypoint Church for the Compassionate Care Fund.
