William A. Monetta

MONETTA, William Alfred, of White Lake, passed away peacefully at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital on January 13, 2026, at the age of 92.

William was born April 19, 1933, in Highland Park, Michigan to Harry Blas and Marjorie M.E. Monetta. He graduated from Holly high school in 1950. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and hiker. William went on to work for GM for a short period of time. He then owned an Italian Restaurant in Oak Park and a candy store/bar nearby. William was a medic in the Korean War Conflict. He was stationed in Virginia but was then transferred to Alaska after training and finished his term there as the war ended, right at the time of leaving for Alaska.

Survived by his devoted sister Marjean M. Kimble of Clarkston and dear niece Tracy J. Kimble of Clarkston. Also survived by many Monetta cousins, all the Pudney family of White Lake, and dear friends Doris and Larry Quick.

A Funeral Service for William will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 12:30pm with visiting directly after 12:00pm

Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery.
