Yvonne Constance Lowe

LOWE, Yvonne Constance; of Clarkston; passed away on February 3, 2026; age 88.  Beloved wife of David W. Lowe Sr. for 69 years.  Loving mother of Lisa Yvonne (Chris) Chigas, David W. (Gale) Lowe Jr., Andrew (Lisa) Lowe, and Joel (Juliana) Lowe.  Proud grandmother of Samantha (Dan) Ross, Thomas (Casey) Lowe, Mara Lowe, Hunter Lowe, Bella Lowe, Gavin Lowe, Gibson Lowe, Andrew (Cristina) Kauthen, and A.J. (Aubrey) Kauthen.  Great grandmother of Andrew Cannaert, Olive Yvonne Lowe, and Navy Jean Lowe.  Dearest sister of Keith (Charlene) Haglund, Marsha (late Richard) Parker, and Valdor (Iora) Haglund.

Yvonne was a longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church where she was the Music Director for over 30 years.  Yvonne's commitment to Calvary was a 30 year labor of love.  She didn't just conduct; she mentored, encouraged, and built a community through the choir.  Whether she was sitting at the organ, directing the bell choir, or selecting the perfect hymns to match a sermon, Yvonne believed that music was the ultimate form of prayer.  She sang with the Gilbert Jackson Chorale in Pontiac for many years.  Yvonne enjoyed travelling but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial Service Saturday, February 14th at 11:00 am at Calvary Lutheran Church, Clarkston.  The family will receive guests at the church on Saturday after 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
