William Wint
Licensed Funeral Director / Owner
Bill is the son of Lew and Diane Wint, founders of the Lewis E. Wint Funeral Home that began in 1959. Bill graduated from Clarkston High School in 1979. Three years later, he received his B.A. degree from Western Michigan University in personnel management and economics. Bill studied Mortuary Science at the University of Minnesota. He received his B.A.S. degree from there in 1983, and his funeral director career began as the Son in Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home that same year. With his father's passing in 1992, Bill took stewardship of the funeral home. He learned the importance of family and service to others at an early age. Following in the footsteps of his father, Bill developed a philanthropic spirit where he gives back to the community. Over the years, he has been involved in the Clarkston Area Youth Assistance, Clarkston Foundation, the Clarkston Jaycees, the parks and recreation little league baseball program, and has served on the board of directors of a local bank. Bill is married to Marie and is blessed with three children and one grandson. Bill has resided in the Clarkston community his entire life. He summarizes everything that the funeral home stands for with this quote: "We consider ourselves blessed to serve this community. Our ability to give back is a responsibility we take very seriously."

Jenni McGee Simsack

Jenni has been a constant at Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home since 1986. She obtained her degree in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University in 1988. Having lived above the funeral home and been raised in Oakland County her entire life, Jenni is familiar with the North Oakland area and the needs of its residents. Jenni is a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association, a former member of the Clarkston Jaycees, and has been active in supporting childhood cancer survivors issues. Jenni met her future husband in high school, where they graduated from Oakland Christian in 1985. She resides in Groveland Township with her husband and two children. Jenni sums up her values with this statement, "I am really proud to be a part of a family-owned funeral home whose goal is attention to every detail, while saying goodbye and celebrating life."

Tim joined Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home in 1997. With a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University, Tim began his career as a licensed funeral director in 1992. He is a member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association. Tim lives in Waterford with his wife, Lisa and two children, Owen and Noah. Tim enjoys traveling, snowmobiling and spending time Up North with his family. Tim has been dedicated to funeral service since 1986, starting his apprenticeship while attending high school. He states, "I feel a great sense of pride, helping families during the hardest time of their lives. The satisfaction in knowing that I played an intricate part in helping people say goodbye to a life well lived, is immeasurable."

Jack is a certified cremation provider. He has spent the last couple years assisting his father who is a Licensed Funeral Director. Jack’s goal is to encourage future mortuary science students.

Libby has been dedicated to funeral service for over 18 years. Libby is a member of the National Funeral Director’s Association and a Certified Pre-planning Consultant. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication and Business Management from Saginaw Valley State University. Libby, her husband Andy and two teenaged children live in Flushing and attend St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Her quote is, “Every family has a story. Jeff worked for Oakland County for 35 years and is a longtime resident of Milford. He and his wife attend the West Highland Baptist Church of Highland Township.

He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion and VFW. Mike says, “Working at the funeral home gives me an opportunity to care for people, which I love.”

In the past, he has been a group leader for the “Brooksie Way” half-marathon training program. Mike attends Kensington Community Church.
